- Typical applications: CRAC/CRAH supply air, raised floor airflow, or duct velocity checks
- Provides critical data for optimizing cooling efficiency and reducing energy costs
WiNG-DI – Wireless Digital Input Sensor
The WiNG-DI converts a wired dry contact (digital input) into a wireless signal, allowing you to bring existing alarm contacts or status signals into the WiNG system.
- Typical applications: Door status, UPS alarm contacts, generator run status, or any dry contact signal
- Simple wired-to-wireless bridge with no extra power required at the contact
WiNG-ANLG – Wireless Analog Input Sensor
The WiNG-ANLG accepts one analog signal and is field-configurable via dip switches for 4-20mA, 0-5V, or 0-10V inputs.
- Typical applications: Integrate third-party sensors (pressure, current, flow, etc.) that don’t have native wireless capability
- Gives you maximum flexibility to expand monitoring without replacing existing wired devices
WiNG-CO2 – Wireless CO2, Temperature + Humidity Sensor
The WiNG-CO2 is a versatile triple-sensing device that simultaneously monitors carbon dioxide (CO2), temperature, and relative humidity in one compact wireless unit. It helps track indoor air quality, ventilation effectiveness, and occupancy levels.
- Typical applications: Building air quality monitoring, HVAC system validation, indoor occupancy estimation (people counting via CO2 levels), offices, schools, conference rooms, horticulture facilities, and greenhouses
- CO2 Sensor: Range 0–2000 PPM, accuracy ±30 PPM + 3% of reading, self-calibrating with zero maintenance and up to 15-year sensor life expectancy. Measurement interval configurable from 1–15 minutes (default every 2 minutes)
- Temperature Sensor: Same accuracy as WiNG-TH (typical ±0.2°C at room temperature)
- Humidity Sensor: Typical ±2% accuracy over standard operating range
- Battery Life: Up to 5 years at room temperature (slightly shorter than single-parameter sensors due to CO2 measurement demands)
- Bonus: Provides valuable data for demand-controlled ventilation, energy optimization, and maintaining healthy indoor environments
You can deploy up to 250 sensors per WiNG-MGR (expandable to ~400 with extenders), giving you scalable coverage across large or complex facilities without pulling new cable.
WiNG-RXT – Wireless Range Extender
The WiNG-RXT is a powerful range extender that significantly expands the coverage of your WiNG wireless monitoring system. It acts as a repeater between the WiNG sensors and the WiNG-MGR v2 gateway, making it ideal for large facilities, complex layouts, or challenging RF environments, such as thick walls, metal structures, or long distances.
- Typical applications: Large data centers, multi-story buildings, warehouses, remote equipment rooms, or any installation where sensors are located beyond the standard 600 ft line-of-sight range
- Range extension: Adds up to 1,000 feet (305 m) direct line-of-sight between the extender and the WiNG-MGR (or another RXT). Sensors can communicate up to 600 ft line-of-sight to an RXT.
- Multiple units supported: You can chain several WiNG-RXT units to create a mesh-like coverage area and support up to approximately 400 sensors per WiNG-MGR system
- Power: Powered by the included 5VDC wall adapter (no battery required for the extender itself)
- Includes: Three antennas, wall mounting brackets, and a power supply with multiple blade options for international use
- Easy setup: Plug in power and mount — the system automatically recognizes the extender with no complex configuration needed
By strategically placing one or more WiNG-RXT units, you can achieve reliable wireless coverage across much larger or obstructed areas without running new cabling or adding extra gateways. This makes the entire WiNG platform even more flexible and cost-effective for expansive facility monitoring deployments.
Easy Integration into Your BMS, EPMS, or DCIM Platform
This is where WiNG really shines for integrators and facilities/operations teams.
The WiNG-MGR v2 gateway (including the latest firmware releases) provides multiple open-protocol options:
- Modbus RTU (via RS-485) and Modbus TCP/IP
- BACnet MS/TP and BACnet/IP
- SNMP (v1/v2c/v3) for network management systems
- Onboard web interface for local viewing, trending (up to 30 days of historical data), and basic alarming
For tighter integration without a full gateway UI, the BMS-WiNG module is purpose-built. It supports up to 50 sensors and acts as a clean protocol translator, feeding data directly into your BMS, EPMS, or DCIM via Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP. Auto-discovery of sensors makes setup fast, and it requires no separate software or licensing fees.
This robust Modbus and SNMP (including v3) support is especially valuable when bridging wireless sensors into platforms like Nlyte NEO, where you can map registers or OIDs to points for trending, alarming, energy calculations, and centralized dashboards in your DCIM or EPMS environment.
Real-World Benefits for Facility and Data Center Teams
- Faster Deployments — Mount sensors in minutes using magnets, screws, or zip ties. No conduit, no long cable runs.
- Lower Total Cost of Ownership — Long battery life, no licensing fees, and free firmware updates.
- Improved Reliability — Proprietary wireless protocol reduces cybersecurity exposure (sensors don’t join your Wi-Fi or IT network). Packet accuracy exceeds 98%.
- Flexibility — Ideal for retrofits, temporary monitoring, or areas with difficult wiring (raised floors, high ceilings, outdoor-adjacent spaces).
- Actionable Insights — Trending, relay outputs for local alarms, and seamless data flow into your existing monitoring system. SNMP v3 adds enhanced security for trap/inform delivery when needed.
Whether you’re protecting a server room, monitoring CRAC units, validating airflow in a data hall, or adding leak detection under raised floors, WiNG delivers the visibility you need without the traditional headaches.
