Water Leak Detector

Water splash on surface

Spot Detector for single-point water leak detection. These Spot Detectors are a cost-effective solution when you have an isolated area where a leak can occur. Spot Detectors work with detecting water leaks and other conductive fluid leaks.

These single-point leak sensors work great in drain pans, small mechanical rooms, floor drains, fire pump rooms, riser rooms, and other isolated areas where water will collect.

The RLE line of Spot detectors (SD) can send a leak signal back to a Zone Controller or Distance-Read style panel. Other SD sensors have a relay output and allow users to connect to their Building Monitoring System or other Monitoring platforms.

RLE SeaHawk Spot Detector SD-R01

Water Leak Detector with Relay Output

SDR-01

The SD-R01 was the first Spot Detector with a relay output for detecting water leaks. Using a Form C relay output allows integration back to most alarm systems. There is a Normally Open and Normally Closed contact for third-party system monitoring systems. From BAS, BMS, Remote Annunciator Panels, Security Panels, and other Alarm systems, this water leak sensor has you covered.

SD-R01 Key Features

  • No exposed metal sensing posts – nothing to rust or corrode
  • Potted electronics
  • Functions when submerged in water
  • Adjustable probes are easily adjusted to the desired height
  • Can be screwed or ram set to floor or baseboard
  • Small footprint/enclosure
  • Simple installation

RLE SeaHawk Spot Detector SD-R02

Water Leak Sensor with Two Relay Outputs

SD-R02

SD-R02 is a Spot Detector with two relay outputs for detecting water leaks. Using a Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) Form C relay output allows integration back to most alarm systems. From BAS, BMS, Remote Annunciator Panels, Security Panels, and other Alarm systems, this water leak sensor has you covered. If you need to connect to two different monitoring systems, save money with one leak sensor that does both.

SD-R02 Key Features

  • Two relay outputs for quick integration into a BMS or DCiM
  • LEDs and audible alarms provide immediate local notification when a leak is detected
  • No exposed metal sensing posts – nothing to rust or corrode
  • Potted electronics
  • Functions when in water
  • Adjustable probes are easily adjusted to the desired height
  • Can be screwed or ram set to floor or baseboard
